The Ministry of Industry, through the Agency for Industrial Standardization and Services Policy (BSKJI), is once again holding the Industrial Technology Pioneer Award (RINTEK) in 2025. The RINTEK Award is an annual event that has been held since 2006.
The Head of BSKJI at Kemenperin, Andi Rizaldi, said the RINTEK Award is the government's way of recognizing national industry players that have successfully created technological innovations to support business process development and increase domestic industrial self-reliance.
“The RINTEK Award is given as the government's recognition of companies that have produced pioneering industrial technology to promote national industrial self-reliance and increase competitiveness,” Andi said in a statement in Jakarta on Sunday (16/3).
To date, the RINTEK Award has been given to 83 companies for 121 pioneering technologies. Involving judges competent in industrial technology, the RINTEK Award continues to produce industrial companies that deliver the best innovations in each period.
The RINTEK Award also aims to encourage national industry players to keep creating industrial technology to reduce Indonesia's dependence on imports of capital goods and downstream products. “We hope this award will motivate domestic industrial companies to keep improving their mastery of industrial technology,” Andi said.
Industrial companies that wish to take part in the RINTEK 2025 selection process can register online via the link bit.ly/PenghargaanRINTEK2025 no later than 14 April 2025. Registration is done by submitting a summary of the pioneering technology together with the company's administrative documents.
After that, several selection stages will be carried out, both administrative and substantive. “Candidate companies selected as RINTEK Award recipients will then be invited to the RINTEK Award ceremony, where the awards will be presented directly by the Minister of Industry,” he added.
